Drama Club (Annual membership)
Drama Club meets on Fridays from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Greyhound Theatre.
Drama Club is a great opportunity to get to know other students in the Pope Theater program, learn theater games, improve your skills, and participate in workshops!
Dues are $50 for sophomores and juniors and $75 for freshman and seniors. Dues include a Drama Club t-shirt, guest speakers & activities and parent membership in the Pope Theater booster club, senior gift and honor cords, if you're a Thespian member.
To join create a Membership Toolkit account and then complete the membership form.
Anyone who wishes to participate in our productions or other activities (except for Pope's Got Talent) must be a member of Drama Club.
Join by September 1 to guarantee your t-shirt.
International Thespian Society (ITS)
The ITS group at each school is called a troupe. Troupe #4448 is Pope High School Theatre's honor society. Students can earn induction based on their theatrical achievement. Over 2.3 million students have been inducted into ITS since 1929! Only Thespians can attend ThesCon! Once you join, you're in for good.

- Lead at troupe, state, and national levels (We have had state reps from Pope HS.)

You have to update your points annually to receive full credit your senior year. The levels and graduation cords are listed below.
Thespian Levels:

60-119 Honors Thespian (white & gold cords)

120-179 National Honors Thespian (blue & gold cords)

180+ International Honors Thespian (blue stole & blue & gold twisted cords)

Improv Club
Improv Club meets during X-Block on Wednesdays.
Improv Club meetings are for beginners and up. Strengthen your improv skills and gain eligibility to audition for ThesCon performances and perform in the spring Variety Show.
Improv Club is free to attend. Auditions will be held to participate in events.
