What is ThesCon anyway?

Join us for the best three days of high school theatre in Georgia. The Georgia Thespian Conference features dozens of productions presented by high schools from throughout the state. Plus, you’ll be able to participate in a variety of workshops led by theater professionals from around the country. And if that weren’t enough, you also can perform or view individual performance and tech events, audition for scholarships, talk to college representatives from around the country, shop with commercial vendors selling theater merchandise, and hang out with 5,000 other Georgia Thespians.

Registration

To register you must complete ALL of the following by the stated deadlines. NO EXCEPTIONS OR LATE REGISTRATIONS.

1. Completed Conference Agreement Form

    1. Complete the form online
    2. Print the copy that comes to your email
    3. YOUR PARENT MUST SIGN IT
    4. Drop it in the box by the Greyhound Theater on 10/2

2. Completed Cobb County Field Trip form (This is online now in ParentVue.  I’ve provided a video walkthrough.)

    1. Student Information
    2. Student Field Trip Permission
    3. Field Trips - Action Required
    4. Complete the form

​3. Pay the registration fee & complete PHS Theater form

    1. Login to Membership Toolkit
    2. Go to My Account
    3. Go to My Paperwork
    4. New Forms
    5. Thescon Registration
      1. It will show the entire fee, but you can choose to just pay the deposit ($150), and then make more payments later.

 

Payment & Deadlines

 

September 27: Submit online forms and deposit

October 2: Bring paper form and drop it in the PHS Theater box.

November 15: Second Payment due​

January 9: final payment

 

If your forms are missing or incomplete in any way or you have not paid by January 12, you will not be able to attend Thescon.
